of the most relaxing parts of each day. Not every stick of wood is designed for a driftwood sign but eventual there comes along one special piece of wood that says something positive.
When we go driftwood and shell hunting on the beaches close to home we always take our two Shih Tzu dogs. These dogs are not ordinary dogs. These dogs rule. I love the sign "DOGS RULE". Our dogs rule and they are fantastic hunting dogs. The help me hunt

The process of making a driftwood sign is simple. First I collect all the natural material from the beach. I take the driftwood and put it in the oven long enough to kill any bugs which may have taken up refuge in the driftwood. I clean most of the sand off the wood and wipe it clean of any unwanted material. After this I use a wood burner to burn a positive word into the wood. After burning a word or phrase into the wood I clue a shell or sea glass on the sign.
